Empire Polo Through Mar. 29
Every Sunday. A fun polo season filled with competitive polo tournaments and games that are open to the public. Spectators are invited to attend matches throughout the season, either by tailgating or watching from the comfort of the VIP section.

The Big Broadway Sing A Long Too! Feb. 1
Desert Theatreworks is happy to announce their annual Fundraising Benefit Dinner. Tour de Palm Springs Charity Bike Ride Feb. 7-8
Up to 30,000 spectators will visit our vendor area located in world famous downtown Palm Springs while cyclists ride between 5 & 100 miles. Every year the event entertains between 6,000 to 10,000 cyclists from 46 different states including 4 countries. Since 1998 the Tour de Palm Springs charity event has distributed nearly $4,000.000.00 to over 150 local nonprofit organizations. Expo: Beer garden, Raffles, Registration, Vendor expo & Jazz bands, 35 piece marching band march thru downtown.

Taste of Jalisco Feb. 8
celebrates the sister city relationship between the cities of Cathedral City, California (USA) and Tequila, Jalisco (Mexico) through music, fashion, spirits, culture and cuisine in Downtown Cathedral City. Singer and Actress Carmen Jara, Nacho Bustillos, Zable Norteno, Mariachi Limn De Javier Hernandez, and many more will all be performing LIVE. Come sample the Mexican-inspired cuisine, music, and of course, Tequila.

CVWS Annual Watercolor Show & Sale Feb. 12-15
Each year, the 150 plus members of the Coachella Valley Watercolor Society save their best artwork for this show, a 3 day, juried exhibit of water-media paintings. The categories include Traditional, Open, Miniature and Plein Air. The Preview/Reception February 12 from 5-pm is a great way to preview the works and to meet the artists.

Modernism Week Feb. 13-23
Modernism Weeks signature February Event is an annual celebration of midcentury modern design, architecture, art, fashion and culture. This exciting festival takes place in February in the Palm Springs area of Southern California. Modernism Week features more than 350 events including the Modernism Show & Sale, Signature Home Tours, films, lectures, Premier Double Decker Architectural Bus Tours, nightly parties and live music, walking and bike tours, tours of Sunnylands, fashion, classic cars, modern garden tours, a vintage travel trailer exhibition, and more.
Valentines Day Hike Feb. 14
Love is in the air and on the trails. Learn about the love lives of desert flora and fauna and enjoy a morning hike in the romantic Santa Rosa Mountains. Come as a couple or on your own! Special Valentines will be provided to give to a loved one or a new friend you meet on the trail.

Palm Springs Modernism Show & Sale
and Modern Design Expo Preview Party Feb. 14-17
Features more than 90 premier national and international decorative and fine arts dealers with furniture, decorative and fine arts representing all design movements of the 20th Century and select 21st century items. The adjoining Modern Design Expo will feature 40 exhibitors presenting the newest and hippest elements for modern living.

La Quinta Hot Rod & Custom Car Show Feb. 15
Event admission is free and open to the public. Entertainment, food, drinks and a beer garden will be available at this family friendly event. The cars will be placed throughout the spacious grounds of the park, allowing viewers to take their time and comfortably enjoy each car on display. This year the show will be recognizing several prize-winning categories, including Best Street Rod, Best Classic, Best Muscle Car, Best Sports Car, and more.

Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic Feb. 20-23
The nations largest and most prestigious preseason college softball tourney, featuring more than 25 top Division I teams. This year will be extra special as Team USA (Womens Olympic Softball Team) will be a featured guest team playing against the very best collegiate softball teams in preparation for the Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan.

Cathedral City Movies in the Park Feb. 22

2020 Wildflower 5k Trail Fun Run/Walk Feb. 29
This FREE family fun event is about experiencing nature at its best, with beautiful spring wildflowers and breathtaking views of the Santa Rosa mountains. Sorry no dogs or strollers are allowed on the trail. Your donation is appreciated and encouraged to support the Coachella Valley Wildflower Festival and the Friends of the Desert Mountains.

Maclins Open Air Market Every Wed. & Sat.
More than 400 vendors and thousands of shoppers. Regional cuisine and various snack foods are available. Parking is free and a small admission fee is charged to shoppers. Nearly everything for the entire family can be found at reasonable prices by browsing the many aisles with the moon as your companion. This is a very social marketplace and friends gather to shop and eat here.
