Helpful Halloween Safety Tips
Enjoy Halloween but Be Save
Have a Safe & Happy Halloween! Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. It is when the neighborhood comes together and families enjoy catching up.
It can also be a bit scary for children. So, here are some safety tips to stay safe on this fun holiday.
1.Tell children who will be in your care to watch out for cars and traffic. Children get so excited with the activity of Halloween that sometimes they forget the basics.
2.Tell children who will be in your care not to eat any candy until they get home and a parent has inspected it. It’s sad that this needs to be said, however safety needs to be at top priority at all times.
3.Tell children who will be in your care to not enter anyone’s house. Once again, safety needs to be a top priority at all times. If there’s a haunted house or a maze of some sort, the Guardian should accompany the child for safety and security purposes.
4. Tell children who will be in your care not to run off where they can’t be seen. Children should always be in plain view of their Guardian and not too far ahead where the Guardian is unable to react to any type of incident.
5. Tell children who will be in your care to always be aware of their surroundings. It’s never too early to teach safety and prevention methods. Halloween is a fun and exciting Holiday, but the message to children should always be safety first!
Once again, have a Safe & Happy Halloween. If you ever need any sort of real estate advice, I am just a phone call away. I am never too busy for referrals especially from family and friends.
