Spring is in the Air in San Diego

Just like our clocks this weekend in the majority of the country, the housing market will soon “spring forward!” Similar to tension in a spring, the lack of inventory available for sale in the market right now is what is holding back the market. Many potential sellers believe that waiting until Spring is in their best interest, and traditionally they would have been right, but not here in San Diego! Our market has been heating up for months.

In San Diego Inland communities inventory is extremely low. Rancho Penasquitos, San Diego 92129, 7 detached homes and 2 attached homes. Rancho Bernardo East – 92128: 27 detached and 2 attached. Rancho Bernardo West – 92127, 97 detached and 4 attached.

However, there are deals to be made. I am in contract with one home that the appraisal didn’t come in at value and the sellers are so motivated to sell, they are giving it to the buyers at appraised value – $21,000 below listed price.
